The Big Labrownski steps up to benchmark 64

Apr 02, 2015

After his impressive maiden win The Big Labrownski stepped out at Benalla for his first benchmark 64 race. With apprentice J McNeil on board The Big Labrownski jumped out of the gates perfectly taking his place at the front of the field. It was only at the last 200 meters that The Big Labrownski was challeneged for his leading spot. When asked by J McNeil The Big Labrownski dug in to fight for his position and gained ground on Empire Rock, another 50 meters and he would have been a sure fire second place. We are still very proud of The Big Labrownski finishing third in his first Benchmark 64 race. The Big Labrownski pulled up from this race a bit jarred in his front joints, he was vet checked and I decided to send him to the paddock for a well deserved holiday. The Big Labrownski will be back in work in the next couple of weeks. I am excited to carry on with his racing career after such an impressive first season. I look forward to the many more wins The Big Labrownki will get for his owners.
